A VERSATILE SOLUTION

ReMakeAble bags, being unveiled by m della m, have emerged from a nimble response to what began as an agile-design challenge, to be able to vary bags, even after fabrication of them.

V85 and Circ - "instigators" working with Impresario to come up with characters - were looking for a way that licensees could put a suite of images on their bags - even retrofitting bags after fabrication - without putting out a wide range of versions of the same model of bag. Fabricating a wide range of variations of the same model of bag means: extra costs to bring the bags to market + extra expenses from consumers when they prefer several versions of a bag (with different accents or patterns or characters for example) + extra burdens on the environment from extra versions of a bag to vary it.

V85 and Circ turned to another Impresario instigator, Savivva, a lifestyle maven. Savviva tapped a Fashioneering team in Impresario. Out of their effort emerged the Lasko approach, utilizing a proprietary system (patent pending), that allows designers, makers and consumers alike to revamp a bag - whatever the shape, size or material of that bag - into different looks, quickly.

LICENSES OF SYSTEM

Impresario heard back from the bags trade that the ReMakeAble system offers designers, makers and consumers broad benefits, eg: economically versioning any model of bag, while reducing the burden on the environment and allowing a variety of appearances of any one bag - eg for office, evening, weekend - merely by selecting add-ons to the bag, whether or not the marketer is using the bag to present art from Impresario. Not only in travel, but everyday, the bag becomes versatile.

Now, licenses - whether simple piecemeal licenses or bloc licenses - are available to the trade, whether designers or fabricators or brands. Even an individual designer doing artisanal bag by bag may have a license. The license permits utilization of the system per bag to realize any bag to be ReMakeAble, and not just our models. As well, the licensee has the choice among: having bags quoted by a factory used by m della m OR made by some other qualifying factory preferred by the licensee OR fabricated by a factory controlled by the licensee. As well, artists who wish to customize models of a bag into a variety of high-value versions can use the license - again, whether the model of bag is through us or the artist or a third party - and with latitude to select a reputable factory.
